Set Up Procedure
- Find a designated area for placement of underlayment and containment mat.
- Select an area with slope to one side so gray water can flow to transfer pump area.
- Dig a hole in an appropriate spot for mat pocket to fit into. Approximately 20X20X20 in size.
- Clear debris from area.
- Back trailer up to designated area.
- Unreel underlayment from reel and lay in appropriate area.
- Unreel containment mat and lay on top of underlayment.
- Place pocket of containment mat into previously dug hole.
- Insert barriers into pockets of mat.
- Position wash trailer so work side is toward mat and near previously dug hole.
- Place screen bucket into hole and set transfer pump in bucket. If no screen bucket is used, then place screened pump into pocket.
- Run extension cord from generator to transfer pump.
- Couple transfer hose to pump and cone tank inlet manifold.
- Level trailer using blocks and jacks.
- Chock wheels.
- Fill main reservoir with clean water.
- Fill cone tanks approximately 3/4 full.
- Remove under body wash apparatus and position onto mat in designated drive-on area (preferably closer to vehicle entrance).
- Attach hose from manifold to underbody wash.
Start Up Procedure
- Place bag filters into filter housings. (Preferably 100 micron filters in each housing. This may change due to earth soils at location.)
- Close filter housing ball valves located at underside of trailer.
- Open quarter inch turn relief valves at top of filter housings.
- Open outlet ball valve of main reservoir going to pump.
- Fill gas tanks for engine and generator.
Operation
- Check oil in motor, gear box, pump, and generator.
- Open fuel valve on underside of fuel tank.
- Crack open ball valve for underbody wash.
- Start engine and use choke when engine is cold.
- Idle control is low to medium position.
- Inspect relief valve by looking into main tank making sure it is properly set and relieves water when ball valves on manifold are shut.
